What a tenant account lets you do
See the homes you rent, what rent is due and when, pay it by UPI, and keep every receipt with the bank reference against it. Using RentHome as a tenant is free — your landlord is billed, you never are.
Your money goes to your landlord
When you pay rent here, the payment gateway settles it to your landlord's bank account. RentHome does not hold your money and is not a party to your tenancy. A payment carries a bank UTR once it settles — that reference is your evidence that you paid.
What your landlord can see
The landlord who invited you to a home sees your name, phone number, email, and the rent and payment history for that home. They see nothing about other homes, other landlords, or any other account you hold.
Disputes
Disagreements about rent, deposits, repairs or the tenancy itself are between you and your landlord. We can show you what was invoiced and what was paid, and we will — but we do not decide who is right.
Your data and your rights
We store your name, phone number, email and the rent records tied to your account, and we use them to run the service — reminders, receipts and support. You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to privacy@renthome.space. Some records — payment records in particular — we are required to keep for a statutory period even after an account closes; we keep those and nothing else.
Ending it
You can close your tenant account at any time. Doing so does not end your tenancy or cancel rent you owe, and your receipts remain yours — they stay downloadable even if the account closes. A landlord account you may hold under the same email is a separate account and is unaffected.
